Pastor Otabil continued his teachings on prayer. Taking his text from James 5:17, he explained that for our prayers to have much result, they must be effective and fervent, and also prayed by a righteous person.

Based on Hannah's predicament, Pastor Otabil revealed how, through our misery, results can be attained. (1Samuel 9-18).

In preparation for this year’s spiritual emphasis month, scheduled for the month of July, Pastor Otabil took time to minister on the subject of prayer. He titled his message “Praying Together.”

In commemoration of the 22nd Anniversary of ICGC, Pastor Otabil re-echoed the Vision and the Mission of the church and went on to outline plans for the year. He also touched on the Advancement theme in the area of Worship, Wisdom and Wealth.

Pastor Otabil looks at the life of Noah and how he walked with God in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.

In this second part, Pastor Otabil looks at the life of Moses who chose to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin.

Pastor Otabil assesses the type of person that would please God and makes us understand that when we live to please God, we experience His covering and glory.

To make the most of what God has for us, we must understand three things about Him. These are His word, His ways and His works

A blessing is an expression of favour and goodness that empowers and adds value and increase in both our natural and spiritual lives.

In our quest to advance this year, it is necessary for us to lay some foundation to help us realize this. In our declaration, we made mention of not postponing our blessings. We can postpone blessings when we continue to submit and subject ourselves to the spirit of the world.

In continuation of last week message, the same fundamental scripture is used but the message is titled "God’s Free Gifts".

God has things in store for us that you haven’t seen yet. But the fact that you haven’t seen them doesn’t mean there is no provision made for them. God is bringing us into a new level of unusual visitation, unusual favour and unusual blessing.

There are things God wants to do in our lives that our eyes have not seen yet. He always surprises us with things we haven’t seen before and things we haven’t heard before. We must therefore always open our hearts and spirits to receive from God because He is in the business of always doing the unusual to surprise His children.

All of us have people who advise us. Sometimes they give us good advice, other times, they give us bad advice. The quality of our lives sometimes is determined by the people who speak into our lives.

The Lord Jesus Christ described Himself in many ways. He used various things that were within the community that the people lived in, to describe who He was to them. Christ described Himself as the Bread of Life, Light of the world, Living water and as a Shepherd.
