Administration
Central Aid is located within the office block of Christ Temple, Accra. The overall operations of the organization are under the direction of a Board of Trustees comprising persons with expertise in legal matters, banking and finance, management, enterprise development and social issues. Among others, the Board assesses annual programmes and budgets, advises on Aid programmes and projects, and represents Aid in any governmental or non-governmental activity that promotes the interest of the organization.
The day-to-day planning and implementation of programmes are overseen by an Executive Coordinator who is also a Human Resource and Socio-economic Development Consultant. A thirty-two-member team comprising a Programme Coordinator/Administrative Secretary and accounting, front desk, security, gardening and cleaning personnel provides administrative support.
A proposal for the appointment of Socio-economic Development Officers in the 100 ICGC assemblies and who will act as Central Aid Coordinators to facilitate socio-economic development of church members and the outreach to humanity has been made.
Logistic support facilities include office accommodation, conference and training rooms, communication network of intercom, Internet etc., and filing, computing, and catering services with a view to provide a conducive environment for work. Central Aid is funded primarily by ICGC. There has been occasional provision from The Boafo Foundation, Coalition Ventures and Barclays Bank.
