2010 – OUR YEAR OF THE BREAKTHROUGH!!!!

It was a spectacle to behold at Ghana's Independence Square when Dr. Mensa Otabil, the General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) declared 2010 as The Year of The Breakthrough.

The teeming crowd which burst the boundaries of the Independence Square shouted for joy with thanksgiving to the Lord for having seen them through 2009.

Dr. Otabil announced that 2010 is the Breakthrough Year and that God's children should prepare for victories in all 'impossible' spheres of their lives.
He led the crowd to make a covenant with God concerning 3 major areas of their lived where they greatly needed a breakthrough and declared that God will grant them the Breakthrough as long as they fulfilled their part of the covenant.

There was tumultuous praise, singing and dancing as the year 2010 was ushered in after a countdown.
Dr. Otabil then conducted an anointing service followed by blessings and benediction.

The crowd earlier on had been led in a time of praise and worship with seasoned gospel artistes such as Soul Winners, the Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Danny Nettey, OJ, Pastor Josh Laryea, Ike Nanor, New Edition, the Central Philharmonic Choir, Prince Aggrey backed by the Christ Temple Praise Team and the evergreen Zamar band.

The programme ended at approximately 1am.
